The painting above is my third watercolor.  The two below are my first attempts I completed at a workshop.  It's done on watercolor board which is my new favorite surface.  I've always admired watercolor paintings but have not been able to achieve the control that I am used to with a pencil.  I am very excited to do more watercolor and improve my skills using it.  Color itself has always been a little intimidating for me but over the past couple years I've been pushing my comfort zone and trying new things.  I'm very excited!
