Thank you for visiting my website. 

My whole life has been full of creatvity from my mother and many others around me.  I have many relatives who are very talented in many different creative fields.  My mother is a painter, sculptor, designer, and can pretty much create something out of nothing.  She along with my father have always been an inspiration and has taught me many things, not just about art but about life.  

Throughout high school I've done many wildlife paintings and drawings.  I never thought about drawing portraits until my senior year in high school.  I was presented with a project of drawing a portrait and the moment I did I it I fell in love with drawing eyes.  I was very surprised at how well it turned out and very excited.  From that moment on I've been drawing portrait after portrait and have been improving my technique and skill along the way.  I think one of my favorite subjects to draw is children.  They have such big eyes and beautiful faces.  They have so many emotions you can see in their eyes.  I love to capture them in a photograph and then a drawing. 

My second love, after drawing, is photography.  I love to capture moments in time.  I've been trying to improve my photography skills so I have reference photos to draw from.  I've photographed a few very small weddings for close friends and have been asked to take family photos.  I do hope to take some classes in photography to expand my knowledge of the digital camera and photoshop.  

I'm married to a wonderful husband who is always helping me improve myself and encouraging me.  I also have a beautiful stepdaughter who is very creative and talented.  I've been very blessed.
